I love music, and would be honored to play at your special event! I have a passion for music. I studied primarily the cello through college, and also have a background in piano and vocal training. I have taught the cello--theory, sight singing and ear training technique, and group ensemble, for 10 years.

where did you get that mug? Awesome.
Mom
That's a damn cute mug.
Of COURSE I remember Sleeping Animals--one of the great highlights of my childhood!!! I remember playing it in that Salvation Army building basement--the one that always reeked of natural gas (remember that??) where we had Sunday School with Chris Robinson, Jon Mark, and Jonathan Peck. We LOVED playing it! :)
Haha. I completely know what you mean about those sorts of apologies...when Abby was a toddler I was pushing her walker up and down this big hill on our culdesac, and she was having the time of her life. Not until an hour or so later, though, did I realize I'd forgotten to put shoes on her, and her thin socks had torn to shreds and her little toes were all scraped, gravel imbedded. To this day, waves of guilt wash over me when I think about that. Although I've apologized to Abby dozens of times I don't think the guilt of my wrong could ever be appeased.
But if it helps at all, I have absolutely no recollection of any yelling incident, just the wonderful, amazing fun of sleeping animals and other exciting games we played...yeah I remember those games would become chaotic and noisy, usually the boys turning violent and pushing people down--do you remember when during one such occasion, Calvin Glover was in charge of us and Jonathan Peck ran into a wall and cut his head open, blood gushing everywhere; that was horrible and Calvin felt SO bad--of course on my end the chaos was when it was the most fun.
I'm amazed by how well you put up with us: as I remember at church there was always like one babysitter to 20 kids or something--anyway something like that but it was grossly disproportionate... Years later, when I started babysitting and would start feeling impatient with 4 or 5 kids I'd remember and marvel at how you all were able to babysit 20 without involving a tranquilizer gun or children's tylenol. :)
